| Beginning Bronze / Beginning |
This is our beginning level for students attending a ballroom or club dance class for the first time. Attend this class level to learn the basic footwork and basic patterns, or for review. It is necessary to learn the basic steps of the dance before progressing to the next level. |
| Intermediate Bronze / Intermediate |
This level means you're starting to think like a dancer! If you found Bronze 1 or Beginning a little slow, hold on to your hat, because this level picks up the pace. You'll learn more patterns & technique. The secrets of latin hips and ballroom swing and sway will be introduced at this level. Your leading and following skills will improve so much that you'll want to test them out at our dances. This level will provide more confidence in your dance abilities! At this level you will find spending the majority of (if not all) your free time dancing. It's natural at Intermediate Bronze/Intermediate to want to refine your dancing and learn more leading and following skills and even asking your instructors for more technique and less patterns. Dancing will really begin to make sense and also become second nature to you. It is necessary to take this level two to three times before advancing to Advanced Bronze/Advanced to ensure that you learn all of the required patterns and have mastered the technique. It’s a good idea to consult your teacher about when it’s time to move on. |
Advanced Bronze / Advanced |
This takes your dancing to a level that is more than just "social". You may want to begin thinking about dancing at Showcases and competing. Performing isn't mandatory at this level, but can be a lot of FUN! When you are ready to begin Advanced, please speak to the instructors of the classes you plan to attend. |
